Egyptian Word OF The Day

King Tut
Today's word

The image of King Tutankhamen's head is taken from a small wooden statue found in his tomb (the black line on his left is a crack in the wood). The original consists of the head and neck only, rising out of a carved lotus blossom. The statue may have been used by the royal hairdresser ( nSt) to prepare the King's wigs. (I retouched the eyes slightly to get his unnerving stare!)
